	Other Important Requirements	- only outstanding thesis awarded with distincion / honours / magna cum laude or "sehr Gut" are eligible - applications form abroad can only be accepted if the stay is planned in a 3rd country (not GER or present country) - two reference letters of german Professors are needed (exeption can be made)
Funding type & amounts	Fellowship (net salary, exempt of national taxes)	varies - depending on the destination (see rates on homepage), usually contribution is reduced to 50 % in the second part as the host instituion shall take over costs
	Working contract (gross salary)	€ 1,365 plus country rate - taxation has to be done by grantee - check with financial authority!
